The Learning Enterprises Executive Staff is a six-person team that works tirelessly to make the LE world go 'round. They lead a team of nearly 150 staff and volunteers, coordinating their efforts in recruiting, training, programming, and daily operations.
Jennifer kozyra - managing director
Jennifer is excited to lead Learning Enterprises through program year 2017. Please do not hesitate to contact her.
Jennifer was first a volunteer on the 2015 Mauritius LE program, where she taught English to 40 students in the village of Bambous. After experiencing a life changing summer, Jennifer went on to serve as a Campus Director at Georgetown University, where she worked to recruit students as volunteers and fundraise for LE. Jennifer’s continued passion for LE has inspired her to serve as the Program Year 2017 Managing Director. In this role, Jennifer hopes to bring further growth to the organization so that even more young adults can experience the life changing opportunities Learning Enterprises provides.
Jennifer is currently a junior at Georgetown University majoring in Finance and International Business with a minor in French. She will spend the fall semester studying abroad at Sciences Po Lyon in France. In her free time, she enjoys playing volleyball and traveling.

Ashley sparkman - director of programming
Leading LE's exciting portfolio of ten programs across eleven different countries is Ashley.
Ashley Sparkman is a fourth-year student studying Psychology and Political Science at the University of Wisconsin - Madison. She volunteered in Hungary and Slovakia in 2015 and was Program Director in 2016.
After two years traveling and studying abroad, she vowed to do her best to continue an open dialogue with the people she met. She realized where she stands on a lot of issues in cross-cultural interactions, and she was lucky enough to find an organization that upholds these values- LE. Her time in Hungary and Slovakia was filled with “garden parties,” sunflowers, castles and more smiles than a Hallmark commercial. Don’t worry, she’s happy to introduce you to her friends and help you wade through the mounds of food. Back home, she enjoys sarcasm, the outdoors, photography, and drinking unquantifiable amounts of coffee.

Julia Burke - director of talent & recruitment
Julia was a volunteer based in the beautiful seaside village of Albion with LE Mauritius in the summer of 2015. The four weeks she spent teaching 20 students in one room taught her so much (and gave her a new appreciation for her teachers back home). Having already spent a semester as an intern for Learning Enterprises on UC Berkeley’s campus, she was excited to go back and continue to help foster the organization’s presence on the West Coast. Last year, she was a Campus Director for UC Berkeley.
Julia is originally from Phoenix, Arizona. She is a third year English major and History minor, and having just spent the last semester studying abroad in London, is excited to head back to sunny California this Fall!

Alice munnelly -director of international marketing
Alice is tasked with expanding Learning Enterprises’ scope for recruitment by establishing, and supporting the development of, campuses outside of the USA.
Alice Munnelly was one of two Irish volunteers on the Mauritius program in 2015. After a meaningful summer on such a culturally diverse island in the Indian Ocean, she was eager to expand the outreach of Learning Enterprises so that more international students would partake in, and benefit from the programs.
Alice attends law school at King’s College London, where she engages in the comparative study of English and French law. She is based in Strasbourg, France for this academic year, where she will complete an internship at the European Parliament. Her interests include sailing and travel writing.

COLTON SEIGEL - DIRECTOR OF PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT
Colton is a junior studying French and Political Science at the University of Maryland, College Park. He volunteered with LE in Mauritius during the summer of 2016. It was there he affirmed his love for travel and cross cultural exchange, despite limited previous international experience. He plans to return to Mauritius one day, but for now is looking forward to a semester abroad in Nice, France.
Apart from his involvement with LE, Colton is the drum major of the Mighty Sound of Maryland, Maryland’s marching band, and loves to talk endlessly about coffee, music, and history.
